Having trained as an actor myself, I know what actors need from a headshot. I will help guide the shoot to emphasise your look to suite the roles in which you see yourself cast.

A headshot session will usually last about an hour. I personally prefer to shoot outside in daylight to keep the pictures natural and unique. Much nicer than standing in a cramped, dull living room. I'm more than happy to take ideas for locations from my clients but I'm equally happy to suggest convenient places around Cardiff. You can pay me on the day or I can invoice you when I send you the initial draft versions of your pictures.

Advice before the shoot

• Get a good night's sleep to avoid looking tired and shabby. Let's get that sparkle.

• Keep make up simple. Consider having the shoot coincide with a trip to the barbers/hairdresser.

• Keep clothing simple. Don't use loads of different colours. Busy patterns and colours distract from your face. Feel free to bring a change of top or jacket to experiment with.

• If you have long hair, feel free to experiment with wearing it up or down. It changes your look drastically.

After the session, I will send over  a selection of low quality, watermarked pictures for you to browse. Let me know your preferred 4 pictures (I'm happy to advise on this too) and I will send you touched up, full resolution, colour balanced, watermark-free copies to your inbox. If you would like additional pictures touched up, It'll be at an additional cost.
